WASHINGTON, DC -- On Tuesday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m., the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA), a coalition of the 30 leading Hispanic organizations from across the country, will present the 2012 Hispanic Public Policy Agenda during the Republican National Convention. Due to Isaac, the briefing will take place as a media conference call.

The quadrennial document contains specific policy recommendations on behalf of the nation's fastest growing community. Leaders of NHLA's member organizations will discuss recommendations for changes by the executive, legislative and judicial spheres in the areas of economic security and empowerment, education, immigration, government accountability, civil rights, and health.

Earlier in the month, NHLA officially released the 2012 Hispanic Public Policy Agenda to national media outlets at a press conference in Washington, D.C. After the Republican National Convention, NHLA leadership will bring their recommendations to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC.
